The Trio Bagatelle: Freshness and Virtuosity in Classical Music
Founded in 2024 by pianist Vincent Laissy, the Trio Bagatelle is a constellation of young talents from the prestigious Lyon CNSMD. Vincent Laissy has brought together violinists Lucile Dugué and Valentin Seignez-Bacquet, along with cellist Aurore Alix, to form this promising ensemble.

Initially assembled for the "Mozart au Paradis" show at the 2024 Avignon Off Festival, the trio quickly established its own artistic identity, moving beyond the scope of their first collaboration.

The Trio Bagatelle is currently dedicating its efforts to touring an album featuring Mozart's trios K.542, K.548, and K.564. This highly anticipated recording, under the Paraty label, was released in April 2025. Beyond Mozart, their repertoire extends to works by Haydn, Beethoven, and Schubert, and they're not afraid to occasionally venture into expanded formations, including viola, clarinet, or even quintet.

Each member makes an essential contribution to the rich sound of the trio. Vincent Laissy, praised for his precise direction and expressive piano playing, particularly noted in his Beethoven and Schubert recitals, injects palpable energy. Valentin Seignez-Bacquet, meanwhile, enriches the trio's sound with his experience and approach to traditional and tango music.
Through vibrant interpretations and bold arrangements, the Trio Bagatelle subtly explores the nuances of Mozart's music. They offer an immersive and refreshing experience, appealing to both newcomers and seasoned music lovers. The dynamic energy and passion of this ensemble breathe new life into classical masterpieces.

A true rising force on the chamber music scene, the Trio Bagatelle successfully combines tradition with originality, promising a bright future and exciting musical discoveries.
